 Office Manager: JANNA CLEGG

Janna is the Office Manager to the leadership at SHCC and has served in this capacity since November 1, 2006.  She and her husband Jeff became members at SHCC in December of 2006.  Jeff is employed as a “Unified Pigment Application Engineer” or in common English, “PAINTER” and currently serves as a Deacon.  Together they share three, grown children; Megan, Devan and Chris & Kayla, and grandson Levi.  In their time off, they enjoy relaxing, photography, traveling, movies, concerts, golf, and just hanging out at home with their family and dogs.

On any given day, Janna manages the marketing of informational materials for promotion and communication with the congregation and Southport community (she is Editor in Chief of ‘The Heights Highlights’ monthly newsletter, weekly bulletin and other publications); she coordinates with the Property Ministry on building maintenance and upkeep, is the clearinghouse for the church event and meeting calendar and membership database, in addition to all of the other day-to-day duties that come across her desk.

Organist: EVELYN BADGLEY

Evelyn Badgley has been a member and organist for SHCC since 1977. In addition to playing the organ beautifully on Sunday mornings, Evelyn also leads our Sisters in Song ladies choir who travel each Friday (Sept. – May) to various nursing homes and rehabilitation centers to sing and minister to those who can’t get out. Evelyn is the proud mother to Trish (Mark) Roberds and Angie (David) Smith, and grandmother to Amy, Tara, Danny, Sara, Jamee. Evelyn enjoys playing and practicing organ and piano music, naps and adopting homeless cats and dogs.

Environmental Services: MELANIE MOSLEY

Melanie Mosley- has been employed with Southport Heights since August 2007 (she previously worked with us back from 2004-2005). She takes loving care of our facilities and can be seen from noon-3p each week day. If you’re in, take a moment to stop her and say “hi”! Melanie has two daughters, Merranda and Mariah.  Melanie recently married the love of her life, Clayton.  In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and kids, including her grandson ‘Hunter’ watching movies, scrapbooking and going out to eat.
